Pallet Racking Buyback

Our Pallet Racking Buyback Service in Greater Sydney, NSW

When You No Longer Need Your Racking

It may be that you are at the end of your lease, or you have reconfigured your warehouse, and you now have some surplus racking – either stacked in the corner or standing empty and idle in your warehouse. The good news is that we are always looking for second-hand racking from Dexion and Colby, and your surplus racking could be a source of income for you.

We also offer a trade-in on your old racking against a purchase of new Dexion racking products. (conditions apply)

How Does the Process Work?

Your first step is to contact us here at XS Racking, and one of our experienced Sales Reps will have a chat with you. Photos of your racking are helpful in assisting our staff to identify the exact brand and model of the racking.

The rep will then visit your site and review the racking. They will be looking not only at the condition of the racking itself but also whether it has been dismantled, packed, and ready for transport, site conditions, access, and availability.

At the completion of this process, you will receive a written quote. Once you accept the quote, our Operations Team will then liaise with you to organise the dismantling and strapping (if required) as well as transport back to our premises.

We are able to do work outside of normal hours if required to minimise disruption to your business.

Please refer to our Question and Answer section below for more information.

Buyback FAQs

  • How much can I expect to get for my Racking?

The price of racking is determined by 3 things:

    Accessibility

    • Has the rack been dismantled?
    • Has the rack been packed and strapped?
    • Is the racking easily accessible for forklifts?

    Brand

    • Racking from industry leaders such as Dexion and Colby is always in demand and, therefore, commands higher second-hand prices than racking from lesser-known suppliers. It is not uncommon for an installation to have more than one brand of racking installed.

    Condition

    • Has the rack been well maintained?
    • Is there visible damage to uprights or beams?

As no two sites are identical, it is impossible to give an estimate of the value of racking unless it is inspected. Click Here to Contact Us online to arrange a free quote.

  • Do you buy back more than racking?

Yes, warehouses often have other items such as safety gates, racking guards, mezzanine floors and conveyors.

  • What is the smallest amount of racking that you would buy back?

Generally, our minimum buyback would be $, unless the buyback is part of a relocation that we are undertaking.

  • Can the work be done after hours?

Yes, but as this would involve additional costs to us, the price we could give you would be reduced accordingly.
